Cécile Schulte
Pianist | Composer | Singer
I offer live piano performances for events, private gatherings, and special occasions in and around Amsterdam. My style blends classical roots with jazz and improvisation, creating warm and atmospheric music tailored to each setting.
Whether as elegant background music or a more featured moment, I perform solo piano and, when fitting, accompany myself with voice. Performances typically last around an hour or more, depending on your needs.

About Cécile
I’m Cécile, a German-Dutch pianist, singer and composer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Raised in the south of the Netherlands by a musically supportive family, my deep connection to music began early—rushing to the piano as a child to play movie soundtracks by ear. This phonetic and intuitive relationship with melody soon blossomed into a classical piano education, guided in part by a Russian concert pianist in Paris, where I also gave intimate performances.
My artistic journey evolved over the years, blending classical roots with a love for cinematic sound, jazz and improvisation. During my student years, I joined a band as a singer, pianist and songwriter, recording and performing live regularly. I’ve since added guitar to my toolkit and started writing my own songs.
Based in Amsterdam, I perform at a variety of venues including the Westerkerk, Tolhuistuin, and the Van Gogh Museum, where I also work as a Directory Officer and head of Management Support. I’m the resident pianist for the Offline Club and have been invited to perform in private and public settings for special guests of the museum.
My work is inspired by artists such as Alexis Ffrench, Elijah Fox, Stephan Moccio, Justin Kauflin, Dustin O’Halloran, Austin Farwell, SYML and many more.
Alongside my musical life, I have a background in Art History, Heritage & Management, I love reading, hiking, going on adventures in nature with my Volkswagen van, watching great films, and spending time with my wonderful friends and family.
Cheers!
